Our primary role is to manage the NZ Super Fund, an investment fund which invests taxpayer contributions globally to help pre-fund universal superannuation in New Zealand. Our team has a deep sense of purpose through the work we do to benefit future generations of New Zealanders. At the Guardians there’s an energy, passion and a shared commitment to excellence. As a proud equal opportunity employer we do not discriminate in our hiring practices, diversity and inclusiveness are highly valued.
The Senior Advisor (Controls) Enterprise Risk reports to the Enterprise Risk Manager and works as part of a close-knit team that has oversight of a broad range of risk management and controls.
Whilst risk is deeply embedded as a key consideration in everything the Guardians do, this role will contribute to continuing to uplift the risk maturity by guiding and facilitating the conversation around risk, building risk registers and testing individual controls in addition to running workshops and training for a range of stakeholders.
Enterprise Risk at the Super Fund is wide-ranging and varied, with both a local and global outlook. Your work will be both interesting and holistic in nature, with oversight of operational, strategic, cyber, and all other non-investment risks. We’re looking for someone who can perform deep dives into key risk areas, whilst always keeping the big picture in mind.
