The Data Technology team is responsible for the delivery and operation of the data platform and investment data that is required at the Guardians. These services must be maintained to be timely, reliable, trusted and well understood by our investment professionals to support our investment decision-making. Data are ingested from a range of global market data suppliers and vendors, including the New Zealand Superannuation Fund’s (“the Fund”) custodian, order and trade management system, and various other market data suppliers.

The Data Operations Engineer will be responsible for the stable operation of the Investment Data Platform (Snowflake, ADF and Coalesce), and you will be responsible for:

To be considered in this role you will ideally have a strong Information Systems background and a data focus with reasonable SQL experience. Working within Agile/ Scrum/ Kanban environments is beneficial, and some experience in C# and Python would be advantageous.
