The Investment Operations team handles all fund and trade support activities for portfolio completion, net asset value reporting, and the effective administration of the Guardians' portfolio through oversight and controls at the total portfolio level. The team collaborates closely with the Portfolio Completion team, Finance, Tax, IT, Data Technology, Data Services, Legal, Risk, and Investments units. 


About the position

We are seeking two Analysts within the Investment Operations team - one for Trade Support activities, supporting the Portfolio Completion teams remit, and the other Fund Support activities, with face off to the internal Finance and Tax teams. 

Your role will include, but not be limited by the following:

  • Process daily the Investment Operations team’s Fund and trade support work stream activity in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Complete assigned tasks and work items within agreed time frames, escalating to senior team members if assistance or support is needed. 
  • Support and coach peers to share knowledge and expertise to build the capability and skills across the team.
  • Validate investment data used throughout the organisation for analysis, trading and performance reporting.
  • Identify and investigate exceptions or issues and work proactively to resolve these in a timely manner and/or escalating them to senior team members for assistance as required. 
  • Lead or support the implementation of projects relating to the Fund and trade support activity including set-ups relating to new products and investments.
     

About you


We are looking for individuals who are passionate about investment operations and eager to grow within a leading financial services institution. Ideally you will have previous experience in fund or trade support function, with a breadth of product exposure - this may have been gained from another asset owner, investment bank or custodial environment. You will have some experience or knowledge of reconciliations and/or valuations & investment data flows/data management. 

Outside of like for like experience, we are keen to look at those who can demonstrate a clear motivation for growing within a leading financial services institution. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, we would love to hear from you.
